Product features
The HLS 6010 level probe uses a capacitive measurement method, there is no moving parts and therefore does not wasting. The probe detects a change of fluid in which it is inserted and automatically adapted to it. The measurement method used is independent of pressure and temperature. The measurement of water and temperature is standard. The probe is manufactured in different lengths and different attachment standards. The probe is very flexible in use and can be used for both normal fuel and LPG and AdBlue.
Options:
HLS 6010 STANDARD
The probe is suitable for underground and aboveground light fuel tanks. Different types of fuels and industrial media can be measured here. The probe is provided with a connecting clamp and can be used alternately in the dome cover.
HLS 6010 LPG
This probe can withstand any pressure in the LPG tank. While normal probes on standard tanks are fitted with a tie clamp the welded NPT flange of the liquid gas tanks provides maximum security.
HLS 6010 ADBLUE
To preserve the quality features of AdBlue, this probe is made entirely of stainless steel and teflon. This probe also has a special cleaning method, making it fully compatible for use in AdBlue.

HLS 6010 probe with wireless technology
The wireless solution can be used when it is impossible, too expensive or too complicated to modernize blank tubes to connect wired measuring devices. The data is transmitted to the controller via radio waves. The fill level indicator and its wireless module are powered by battery power integrated into the head. All components are located inside the probe. Only the radio antenna is located outside and can be mounted in the shaft at the most convenient for the customer.
Receivers-receivers
OptiLevel Wave is the central collection point for data on all wireless probes. Wireless measuring devices can be integrated into an existing network of cable meters. OptiLevel Wave can be connected directly to the host system or OptiLevel Supply and Wave together to the Mineo Controller.
Optilevel repeater
If the distances are large, the OptiLevel Repeater should be added to the radio as an amplifier. OptiLevel Repeater allows to significantly improve the range of wireless communication.
How it works
The HLS 6010 Wireless Transmitter transmits the tank level data via radio waves to OptiLevel Wave (up to 500 meters in unobstructed view). OptiLevel Wave collects the data and transmits it via cable to the higher level system. If the corresponding distances are large, a repeater as an amplifier must be added to the radio. The repeater receives data from OptiLevel Wave and the probe and re-transfers them.

Comparison between the Optellevel system and magnetostrictive floating probes
Float level floaters on the market are of an older generation. They contain floating parts - a float that mechanically measures the level of liquid. If the system also reports the water level, the floats that are mounted become two pieces. In fact, these systems do not measure the fuel level and the position of the float. The floats themselves contain a strong magnet that attracts and retains any metallic particle that falls into the fuel, changing its weight, and with longer accumulation without cleaning it can lead to its jamming.This effect is particularly pronounced in older tanks at the bottom of which have more sludge that stick to it. Another problem is sticking the float to the bottom while maintaining a low fuel level in the tank. As a result of all these factors, the position of the float may not meet the fuel level, a problem that can only be solved by disassembling the probe and additional costs.
In the case of liquefied gas tanks, the float may be damaged during periodic high pressure checks during the test. And like any mechanical system, the float level system is subject to wear, which implies periodic replacement of components.
The Optiblev level system, which we offer, is devoid of all these disadvantages. It measures the level of fuel directly without the floats. The measuring part of the probe is made of stainless steel which has no moving parts and is practically eternal.
